The Accounting G/L Manager is expected to partner with Section Manager on adherence to local and Company accounting policies in order to maintain accurate accounting reporting and effective accounting processes.Responsibilities: 1. IFRS and Japan GAAP Accounting Reporting and Analysis – Lead monthly, quarterly, annual closing and reporting. Conduct analytical review to ensure accuracy. 2. Operations – Maintain accounting operations to ensure production of accurate and reliable accounting records.3. Audit – Lead external and internal audit to ensure full compliance with no delay. 4. Controls – Design, implement, and maintain adequate level of internal controls. 5. Team management – Manage three staff members and build a strong team. 6. Projects – Lead/support various accounting related projects. Examples of upcoming projects are ERP implementation and ESG initiatives. 7.
