Responsibilities:・Prepare and file tax returns for XXX entities in Japan. ・Attend tax audits and respond/resolve issues with tax authorities in Japan.・Pursue tax saving opportunities and conduct moderate to complex research & analysis for improvements. ・Partner up with sites or businesses to identify and resolve local and international tax problems.・Perform tax accounting and its reconciliation based on US/JP GAAP and Regional/Global Tax guideline.・Team up with other countries’ tax organization for local/international tax compliance and problem solving. ・May lead tax project.

About the Role:Our client is currently looking for a Strategic & Analytical Investor Relations (Specialist or Manager) to join a large Japanese multinational high-tech PE-backed manufacturing company.Key Responsibilities:•Build and develop strong relations with the main US Private Equity Shareholder.•Work with the current IR Specialist & CFO to communicate investment strategy, updates, and opportunities to potentially new or existing clients.•Oversee all IR matters for both Domestic & International Projects.•Communicate the company’s story and value proposition by crafting a market narrative.•Drive engagement by organizing Investor Meetings and networking opportunities.•Maintain a deep understanding of the investment landscape.•Maintain regulatory disclosure and compliance requirements, including quarterly and annual reports.Qualifications:•Exceptional track record in Investor Relations, Capital Markets, or Wealth Management.•Experience work

•Lead all financial, accounting, and business planning activities across retail operations.•Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing analysis, reporting, and recommendations to ensure targets are met.•Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial governance in coordination with local leadership.•Identify and report deviations from financial or operational targets and propose corrective actions.•Ensure clear communication and compliance across teams by establishing operating standards and best practices.

General Accounting:- Manage period-end closing, including deliverables, P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, and variance analysis.- Adhere to the close calendar and support timely completion of divisional month-end tasks.- Coordinate treasury functions for assigned entities.- Serve as a point of contact for the US treasury team, providing requested information.- Oversee cash balances, accounts, and facilities, including intercompany reconciliations and fund settlements.- Contribute to maintaining a strong internal control environment compliant with territory requirements and SOX.- Assist the Senior Manager in ensuring accurate balance sheet reporting, reviewing reconciliations and footnote disclosures, and providing updates to Finance partners.- Support the Senior Manager with ad hoc analysis for APAC leadership and Finance teams, and address internal queries across departments.- Collaborate with the technical team to resolve system report issues
