They are establishing a new center of excellence focused on pricing and contracting technology, aiming to unlock scale and drive growth through efficient, agile, and data-informed strategies. Role
Role & Responsibilities
As the Product Owner for Japan, you will be instrumental in defining the vision for products related to contracting and offer development. You will be responsible for delivering a product that not only meets customer needs but also significantly contributes to the organization's strategic goals. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand current challenges and identify gaps, working alongside IT to select optimal technology solutions.

Main tasks include
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand pain points and gaps in contracting and offer development processes.
Partner with IT to select appropriate technology products for process resolution.
Gather customer requirements to map the product vision and scope.
Translate the product vision into a well-defined product backlog.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of value.
Lead the Japan Pricing & Contracting Agile Pod, ensuring focus on business impact by balancing stakeholder needs, strategic goals, and user insights.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, encompassing transformation, growth, and ongoing operations.
Partner with global data core and analytics teams to support the creation of analytics packages for informed decision-making.

Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of experience in leading end-to-end program/project execution.
Experience working within multinational or international companies.
Proven experience with technical product launches in a lead role.
Fluent in both Japanese and English.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and influencing skills.
Ability to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions that deliver value.
Understanding of architectural design implications for solution alignment.
Bachelor's degree or above.
