Overview
This role is responsible for delivering a variety of HR services and programs in Japan, including training and development, performance evaluation, and organizational development. The position will also provide support for select regional initiatives across the APAC Region.
As a locally based role, it requires managing outsourced payroll vendor operations, with solid knowledge of payroll and social insurance. In addition, recruitment activities such as interview scheduling, direct interviewing, and communication with external agencies are part of the role. The Japan operation is currently in a transition phase with outsourced payroll vendors, making this position essential to ensure stability in HR operations.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide recruitment support across multiple entities
o Manage vendor relationships (including payroll vendors)
o Arrange and coordinate interviews
o Administer HR systems (Workday)
• Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing mail, and processing registrations
• Maintain employee records and filing systems, partnering with external vendors as needed
• Support training sessions and workshops
• Assist HRBPs with small projects and ad hoc tasks

経験・スキル

• Microsoft Office:
o Excel (advanced: pivot tables, data aggregation, graphs, formulas, form creation, etc.)
o Word (mail merge, drafting announcements, etc.)
o Outlook (email, scheduling, meeting room reservations, etc.)
o PowerPoint (strong proficiency)
• Languages: Native-level Japanese and business-level English
• Experience: Prior HR experience in recruitment, labor, and payroll, with a strong interest in continuous learning. Must be detail-oriented with strong skills in calculations and data validation.
