[About the Role]
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join the supply chain analytics team of a global retail organization. This role focuses on leveraging data to drive smarter planning, optimize operations, and improve forecast accuracy across a large and complex product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data-driven solutions for demand forecasting and supply planning across multiple SKUs
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights, trends, and patterns
- Clean and prepare large datasets, handling missing values, outliers, and integrating external/promo variables
- Build and maintain time-series models and other machine learning solutions using Python and SQL
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, operations, and commercial teams to translate business needs into data science solutions
- Use version control tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket for model and code management

- Proven hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
- Strong foundation in time-series modeling, EDA, and machine learning techniques
- Experience in the retail or FMCG industry
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics or related domains
- Proficient with code management tools like GitHub or Bitbucket
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
