Responsibility

Set a Vision and Goal
Responsible for setting reasonably ambitious sales and share target for annual cycle and long-range of the TA/Brand.
Build sales forecast with logic by putting reasonably aggressive assumptions

Develop winning strategy and tactical plan:
Gain deep understanding of the market and competitive situation.
Develop marketing strategies and tactical plans for the Therapeutic Area and Brands to meet/exceed business objectives
This includes identifying target customers, positioning, developing promotional plans by utilizing most appropriate channel, and innovative marketing initiatives.

Develop and manage investment plan
Develop investment plan by aligning with strategy and considering ROI to make sure to gain highest return within the budget and to achieve the business objective.
Propose investment plan as a business owner and seek additional opportunity to grow even beyond ordinal/historical marketing plan.

Communicate strategy and tactical plan
Communicate strategy clearly and make all people understand and be motivated to contribute to the success of the business with the best effort.

Execution of the commercial activities
Make sure the execution is effective, impactful, and allocated on the strategic imperatives which drives sales growth of the brands
KPI setting and tracking
Setting meaningful and critical KPIs and regularly monitor the progress and impact of all commercial activities.
Together with insight manager, develop tracking method including design primary market research or purchase secondary data.
Promptly compose counter measures if situation is digressed from the predetermined status.
LCM and Pipeline
Seek further growth opportunity by assessing LCM including additional indication, data generation, device improvement, SKU optimization.
Contribute to maximize the value of the pipeline product by providing input or support
Develop talent
Provide guidance to marketing staff and brand team members, keep motivation high and supporting them towards achieving objectives. Develop individual talent of the team by fostering capabilities and providing regular feedbacks.
Strong collaboration with stakeholders:
Collaborate with internal cross functional brand team and APAC/Global counter parts.
Also develop great rapport with external stakeholders including KOLs, HCP, Patients, third party agencies to maximize the value of the brand through collaborations.

経験・スキル
Education

Bachelor's degree or higher
MBA holder is advantage

Experience

More than 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry as marketing brand management
Or experience at a consulting firm to in charge of the pharma company brand strategy project
Extensive knowledge of the pharma business in Japan, especially the hospital business.
Experience to manage people or staff
Rare disease experience is prepared.
Project management experience is plus
Business English level (read/write/speak and presentation)
