HR Planning
- Collaborate closely with retail management to forecast and plan talent pipeline needs.
- Advise retail team leaders on strategic organizational enhancements to achieve company objectives.
- Serve as a Retail HR Business Partner (HRBP), offering specialist guidance and direction.
- Engage in cross-company activities and strategic endeavors.
Retail Talent Acquisition
- Formulate annual staffing plans and recruiting strategies in partnership with the business and Talent Acquisition.
- Ensure up-to-date job descriptions for all roles.
- Skillfully interview candidates to assess competencies, potential, and cultural fit.
- Manage internal transfers for effective talent mobility.
- Address staffing issues, including terminations and redundancies, to mitigate legal risk.
Performance Management
- Implement and upgrade performance management practices according to central HQ and Japan office
guidelines.
- Implement evaluation system following HQ guideline and local practice.
- Mentor and guide managers in executing the annual performance management process.
- Provide counsel on managing performance challenges and corrective action.
Talent Management & Development
- Develop and implement Talent Assessment methods, conducting annual Career Committee sessions with
management for potential assessment and talent identification.
- Advise managers on crafting individual development plans.
- Maintain updated potential ratings and succession data in HR Systems for management insights.
- Collaborate on company's overall Talent Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Development
needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist CFO and C&B Specialist (Outsourced) in adapting company C&B policies through market analysis.
- Execute merit and promotional increases following company’s guidelines.
- Provide strategic input to management on compensation and incentives for competitive advantage.
- Ensure alignment of compensation & benefits practices with HQ standards.
- Convey employee feedback on benefit programs to Country Manager and C&B Specialist.
Employee Relations
- Enact HR strategies that drive organizational change initiatives.
- Foster open employee communication and constructive employee-management relations.
- Conduct and report Exit interviews, collaborating with relevant departments for store staff improvement.
- Enhance work environment and conditions in partnership with retail management.
- Offer guidance to employees of all levels to address or prevent employee issues.

- 経験・スキル
- - Bachelor’s degree in business administration
- Expertise in Labor Law, knowledge in Compensation & Benefit, and HR Operations, with hands-on application
- 5+ years of overall HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in HRBP role.
- Native Japanese fluency and Business Level English
- Advanced PC skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Effective communication, team collaboration, customer focus, confidentiality, flexibility, learning mindset, and self-
