With a focus on the commercialization of Cell Therapy-cardiovascular disease (CVD) assets in Japan, as a Senior Brand Lead, you will lead a cross-functional launch team and will be in charge of launch readiness and success. You need to work effectively with people from different functions and organizational levels, across diverse geographies, calling for high cultural awareness and the necessary skills to encourage and influence colleagues and key stakeholders, including external partnership management. Other tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Provide commercial inputs into HS-001’s integrated brand plan to drive brand growth trajectory through market intelligence and market research, including but not limited to market landscaping, situational analysis, patient identification, product positioning/differentiation, stakeholder segmentation, etc.
• Define the marketing and promotion mix to identify the priority tactics and budgets required to activate the strategy. Drive go-to-market planning, including market assessments (forecasting, scenario analysis, etc.) and partnership management: work on activities with both internal and with external stakeholders to ensure partnership success.
• Create impactful, measurable, and methodically aligned launch/brand KPIs to drive our Cell Therapy CVD business in Japan. Drive the conceptualization and delivery of brand forecast in close collaboration with Cell Therapy Strategy & Operations senior manager, F&O, Market Access, and external partner. Ensure timely execution of budget and the delivery of brand financial objectives.
• Secure alignment on brand core stories across the Cell Therapy-CVD portfolio and cascade relevant information in the company’s organization (Japan/ International Operations/ Global).
• Identify best practices across the market and ensure knowledge transfer across the company and collaborate with Strategy & Operations senior manager and Japan Launch Team (JLT) members to conduct training for internal capability development.

Qualifications
• Must have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or Pharmaceutical Science. A master’s degree and above are preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry marketing experience with combined full-time experience focusing on the following: Commercial exposure to Regenerative Medicine/Oncology/Rare Disease, new product planning and launch experience, track record in matrix/cross-functional brand leadership, digital Marketing experience (Omni-channel engagement strategy development and digital contents creation is a plus. Co-marketing/co-promotion partnership experience is a plus)
• Knowledge and understanding of local and business compliance and regulatory processes. CVD therapeutic/market knowledge is not a must, but learning agility is expected.
• Strong negotiation skills to influence external/internal stakeholders and excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Fluency in Japanese and business-level English is required.
