[About the Role]We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join the supply chain analytics team of a global retail organization. This role focuses on leveraging data to drive smarter planning, optimize operations, and improve forecast accuracy across a large and complex product portfolio.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement data-driven solutions for demand forecasting and supply planning across multiple SKUs- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights, trends, and patterns- Clean and prepare large datasets, handling missing values, outliers, and integrating external/promo variables- Build and maintain time-series models and other machine learning solutions using Python and SQL- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, operations, and commercial teams to translate business needs into data science solutions- Use version control tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket for model and code

•Lead all financial, accounting, and business planning activities across retail operations.•Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing analysis, reporting, and recommendations to ensure targets are met.•Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial governance in coordination with local leadership.•Identify and report deviations from financial or operational targets and propose corrective actions.•Ensure clear communication and compliance across teams by establishing operating standards and best practices.
