We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow Asset Management solutions for customers in Japan.
The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro, strong architecture and consulting skills, and the ability to engage with Japanese business stakeholders to optimize IT asset lifecycle management, software compliance, and cost optimization initiatives.
The successful candidate must be fluent in English (business level or native) and ideally business Japanese, and should be comfortable communicating within global teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro implementations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather asset management, software compliance, and licensing requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Design enterprise-grade ServiceNow Asset Management architecture aligned with industry best practices.
• Drive implementation, integration, migration, and optimization projects for hardware and software asset management.
• Define governance, platform standards, CMDB alignment, discovery strategy, security, and performance optimization.
• Architect integrations with enterprise systems such as Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Tanium, Flexera, Snow Software, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, procurement systems, and other third-party applications.
• Design software normalization, software reclamation, license optimization, and compliance management processes.
• Design hardware asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, deployment, inventory, maintenance, refresh, transfer, and disposal.
• Ensure alignment between Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, HAM, and SAM data models.
• Guide development teams on technical design, scripting, and ServiceNow best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution workshops, and design documentation.
• Support presales activities including solution demonstrations, effort estimation, solution design, and proposal development.
• Mentor developers, administrators, consultants, and asset management specialists.
• Stay updated on new ServiceNow Asset Management capabilities and recommend continuous platform improvements.

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow architecture and development experience.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise-scale ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro solutions.
• Strong experience designing enterprise Asset Management architecture integrated with CMDB and Discovery.
• Experience with software license optimization, compliance management, publisher licensing models, and audit readiness.
• Experience implementing Hardware Asset Management lifecycle processes across global organizations.
• Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM/MECM, Intune, Jamf, Flexera, Snow Software, ERP, procurement, and identity management platforms.
• Experience working with global delivery teams.
• Customer-facing consulting experience with demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery teams and engage executive stakeholders.
• Experience with ITAM governance, software audit management, and IT asset optimization initiatives.
Preferred
• Experience with ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping implementations.
• Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities, Asset Intelligence, and workflow automation.
• Experience delivering digital transformation programs across large enterprises.
