Role
Role & Responsibilities
As a Data Science Consultant, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing significantly to business growth. You will collaborate with biopharmaceutical partners across the entire drug R&D value chain, applying your scientific and technical expertise to solve real-world challenges and achieve their precision medicine goals. This role reports to the Head of Customer Success Team and is based in Tokyo.

Main tasks include
Lead Data management software Implementation projects, providing scientific expertise, business process analysis, and solution design.
Scope and execute customer Data Science projects, delivering results and presentations that exceed client expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary scientific and technical contact.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Share insights from customer interactions with internal teams, including Sales, Software Development, and Product Management.

Occasional travel to Headquarters in Europe and the United States, as well as regular travel to customer sites within Japan.

経験・スキル

Requirements

PhD or MS in bioinformatics, data sciences, health sciences, or a related discipline, with strong computational and life sciences foundations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and simplifying complex scientific concepts in both Japanese and English.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or R, with extensive experience analyzing multi-omics, biomarker, imaging, and clinical data, preferably within biopharma research.

Strong project management abilities with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results within agreed timelines.

Fluent N1 Japanese and Business English required,
