Work arrangement - Onsite at Toyosu

Our client, a leading global Japanese investment bank, is responsible for providing business solution, support and ensuring stability for the organization. Its functional domain includes trade processing, settlement and payments, regulatory reporting, external connectivity to Swift and other market infrastructure. Their mission is to enable business growth by providing scalable and stable solutions to one of the firm’s most critical function areas leveraging best-in-class technology.

The firm is currently undergoing a major IT Transformation initiative, transforming developer experience and productivity to next level by adoption of Cloud platform and SDLC toolsets.

Randstad is partnering with them to look for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join them as Java Developer, who can advance transformation journey while also driving and contributing to various projects that deliver technology solutions to support business growth and client needs.

The role provides a unique opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the technical and functional domain of middle and back-office processing systems to work on hands-on development of business application software, adopting and leveraging various DevOps toolsets.

Key Responsibilities (Not limited to)
• Work as a part of a local development team, contributing to system design and development of software application for derivatives domain.
• Participate in the full project life cycle including technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development and testing.
• Provide 3rd level support assistance to the Production Support team, to enable effective and timely support of the production environment.
• Understand the team’s priority and ensure work is performed in the order of priority in Agile method.
• Proactively communicate with application team manager (or members) to ensure there is no gap in understanding of priorities, expectations on timelines.
