■Job Description
This role involves leading a team dedicated to building and operating the safest, most secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The leader will focus on developing personnel while upholding the highest standards of operational excellence within established frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

■Leadership & Execution:

・Lead and develop a team of 8-12 data center technicians.
・Drive operational excellence through established frameworks.
・Identify and mitigate risks with clear escalation paths.
・Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
・Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

■Safety, Security & Availability:
・Create and maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
・Drive understanding and adherence to technical standards, ensuring immediate remediation when standards are not met.
・Lead preparation and execution of emergency responses.
・Manage proper escalation processes for incidents.
・Ensure capacity is delivered and aligned with customer needs.

■People Development & Process Improvement:
・Develop professional data center skills across the team and execute performance evaluations.
・Provide coaching and managing performance, establishing clear career paths and promotion opportunities.
・Lead innovations to reduce costs and risks, and drive the sharing of operational improvements.
・Implement process standardization and optimization initiatives.

■A Day in the Life:
The primary focus is leading a team that maintains critical infrastructure for cloud services. This includes daily safety-focused standups, site walks, mentoring team members, reviewing operational metrics, and collaborating with facilities, engineering, and vendor teams. The role involves tackling complex technical challenges, from capacity planning to emergency response, and driving continuous process improvements.

経験・スキル

■Basic Qualifications
・5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.

・3+ years of managing technical teams, with significant personnel management experience and demonstrated examples of developing engineers and building successful teams.

■Language Requirements:
・Japanese: JLPT N2 or higher.
・English: CEFR B1.2+ / TOEIC 800+ or equivalent.

■Preferred Qualifications
・Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

・Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.

・Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.

・Experience with mission-critical, 24x7 operations.
