Stable Global Business with a diverse product portfolio is hiring a Bilingual (Business Japanese & English) Head of Data (Analytics & Engineering)

In this role you will assume leadership of the team, with ownership of the end-to-end Data Analytics and Engineering projects and products.

You will have 5 direct reports on your team working on various data related projects
This role will require you to be hands on at times -either as a mentor, to fill in a knowledge gap, or to help create advance POC
Knowledge of Analytic tools such as Python are a must
Knowledge of Cloud Infra Data platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP are also a must
Knowledge of ETL and Salesforce


Scope

Report directly to the Director of the Business unit, who reports directly to the GM of Japan
The main focus of this role will be Sales & Marketing Data, your work will have a direct positive impact on the business.
You will work cross functional across the business, working with Local business stakeholders to understand their business and help them understand the data (This will be in Japanese) 80%
You will also work with Global Data Members and key Business Stakeholders to align with global best practices (This will be in English) 20%
