This role works closely with the affiliate Alliance Management Lead in Finance to help achieve the Japan Businesses strategic goals via alliance across all alliance partners current and future. The position requires growth mindset to challenge new things without hesitation and learn from success/failure to deliver a better business result as well as soft and hard skill dealing with internal and external stakeholder for the successful partnership management.
• Directly or indirectly support Affiliate President & General Manager /Senior leadership team (mainly CFO and Business Unit Directors) to achieve the Japan Businesses short-term, mid-term and long-term strategic goal via alliance.
• Propose, Negotiate and Execute effective and efficient alliance by working with strategic partners.
• Continuously work with alliance partners to build better alliance governance, by anticipating changes of alliance goal, The business and Partner’s strategic goal.
• Stable alliance management – (i) the planning, preparation and execution of governance meetings, (ii) Identify and manage the potential risks for the partnership and support senior management from the business and contractual perspectives, applicable laws/industry code and resolve conflicts between the global business/Japan business and its partners in a manner that promotes the best interests of the partnership.
• Monitor business and decisions are made in accordance with the spirit and provisions of the contracts through monitoring plan and testing. Monitor the execution and performance based on decisions made in alliance governance.
• Maintain information repositories of each alliance ensuring proper documentation storage, access review, etc.
• Lead and/or support any contract amendment and or newly proposed contract extended from existing contract by liaising with relevant functions locally and globally.

経験・スキル

Required Experience:
• Experience in alliance management with Japanese
and/or non-Japanese (US / European) companies or experience in pharmaceutical industry in Japan in Finance, Sales, Marketing, or Ethic & Compliance at least 6 years
• Experience in cross-functional work/project
• Good written and verbal presentation/communication skills, appreciation to diversity
• Must be fluent in Japanese and business level English (written and spoken)
