The position involves overseeing all marketing activities, including the launch of a drug in 2022 to treat ultra-rare and familial hypercholesterolemia diseases, which is expected to be released in 2024. Additionally, there will be responsibilities related to introducing new compounds in the Japanese market in collaboration with both the Japan and Global teams. This role requires expertise in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans based on deep knowledge of marketing, specifically in rare diseases and biopharmaceuticals. Effective budget management and selection of appropriate vendor partners are crucial to achieve business and sales objectives. The candidate should possess leadership skills and proficiency in forecasting, market modeling, and achieving sales goals. As part of a growing and entrepreneurial organization, the candidate will also contribute to other business activities to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities
1. Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives for drugs targeting ultra-rare and familial hypercholesterolemia diseases, ensuring progress monitoring and making necessary adjustments to optimize success and achieve business and sales objectives.

2. Ensure the timely delivery of all marketing initiatives within the allocated budget.

3. Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines for all marketing programs.

4. Collaborate with commercial colleagues and customer-facing Field Teams, providing training and ensuring their preparedness to effectively implement marketing programs.

5. Foster cross-functional collaboration with various commercial and non-commercial teams, such as Global Brand Strategy, Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Legal & Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Patient Advocacy.

6. Manage congress initiatives in conjunction with the event management team, overseeing messaging, booth design, and coordination of on-site materials and field training.

7. Cultivate and nurture meaningful business relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) throughout Japan and external stakeholders.

8. Continuously monitor and adapt the patient support program and its offerings to ensure an optimal patient experience and promote product usage.

※ This is a Remote position that will require a once monthly meeting in person in Tokyo.

こんな方を求めています
経験・スキル
1. BA/BSc degree or equivalent life-sciences qualification required. (MBA preferrable)

2. Minimum 5+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
(Preference for rare/ultra-rare disease marketing experience, developing and leading strategic, innovative brand strategies).

3. Experience working in crossfunctional environments, collaborating with sales teams.

4. Comfortable working in a startup environment, defining process and forging new operating principles with internal stakeholders.

5. Strong command of analytical and market research techniques, experienced in interpreting market insights for the purpose of guiding strategic direction and prioritizing patient tactics.
(Market Access experience is a plus).
