Title: Principal Counsel – APAC Regional Business (Global Tech / Tokyo)

As Principal Counsel, you won't just review contracts—you will serve as a key business partner to senior executives, steering complex commercial deals and shaping legal strategy across Japan and the wider APAC region.

Who We Are Looking For
Legal Qualification: Qualified Attorney (Bengoshi, US/UK BAR, or other international jurisdiction).
Experience: 5+ years of PQE in commercial contract negotiation and legal advisory, gained within a top-tier law firm or multinational in-house team (experience in tech, IP, or manufacturing agreements is highly advantageous).
Bilingual Capability: Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written legal draft capability required).
Mindset: A business-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced setting, assesses risk pragmatically, and communicates effectively across cultures.
