■ Position: Financial Controller (Team Management)
■ Location: Tokyo Head Office

　An elite global brokerage firm is seeking a strategic Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations for its Japanese branch. Reporting directly to the regional APAC CFO, you will drive accurate financial reporting, enforce strict regulatory compliance, and lead a dedicated finance team to support core business strategies.

■ Responsibilities:
・Direct and optimize daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, billing, and general ledger management.
・Execute precise month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring total quality control over all financial transactions.
・Ensure rigorous compliance with all local government reporting requirements, tax filings, and complex regulatory standards.
・Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated local finance team while closely collaborating with external and internal auditors.
・Coordinate the preparation of corporate budgets, financial forecasts, quarterly bonus calculations, and detailed variance reports.
・Liaise with senior finance leadership across the APAC region to align local business processes with global internal controls.

経験・スキル

■ Minimum Requirements:
・8+ years of corporate accounting and financial control experience.
・Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and accounting principles.
・Proven experience in financial statement creation and general ledger functions.
・Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively manage and develop a team.
・Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal) for global reporting.
・Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

■ Preferred Qualifications:
・CPA, CA, or CMA certification is highly advantageous.
・Experience using Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase, or Power BI.
・Exceptional analytical, numerical, and logical problem-solving skills.
・Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask.
