We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Specialist to design, configure, implement, and optimize ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) solutions for enterprise customers in Japan.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro, strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), hardware asset lifecycle management, CMDB, Discovery, and enterprise integrations. The candidate should work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant hardware asset management solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable hardware asset management solutions.
• Configure and optimize hardware asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, inventory management, stockrooms, deployment, assignment, transfers, maintenance, warranty management, refresh, and disposal.
• Configure asset models, model categories, consumables, stockrooms, and hardware asset workflows.
• Maintain and improve CMDB data quality in collaboration with Discovery and Service Mapping teams.
• Implement hardware asset governance, inventory controls, and lifecycle best practices.
• Develop workflows, Flow Designer automations, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and integrations supporting HAM processes.
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise tools such as Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Tanium, SAP, Oracle, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and procurement systems.
• Support hardware asset audits, inventory reconciliation, and compliance initiatives.
• Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs for asset utilization, lifecycle status, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay current with new ServiceNow HAM capabilities and recommend continuous process improvements.

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow HAM Pro implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and hardware asset lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro).
• Experience managing procurement, receiving, inventory, stockrooms, hardware asset lifecycle, and asset governance.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with Discovery, CMDB, SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Tanium, or other endpoint management solutions.
• Working knowledge of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow platform administration.
• Experience participating in end-to-end ServiceNow implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, or CMDB implementations.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and IT Asset Management governance.
• Experience working in global consulting or system integration environments.
• Business-level Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2/N1 or equivalent)
