Accounting Specialist (Global Finance & Reporting)

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to elevate your career in a global environment? Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled individual to oversee general accounting duties and drive financial operations for their business in Japan. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with our headquarters abroad, ensuring financial precision and excellence.

Responsibilities:
- Manage English-language accounting tasks, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare and submit critical financial reports to our international Finance Department.
- Oversee tax-related documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable, verifying invoicing and payment accuracy.
- Support payroll processing and essential administrative finance operations.

Qualifications:
- Proven practical experience in FP&A and English-language accounting.
- Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Practical cost accounting experience, IFRS knowledge, or professional certifications like USCPA.
