Reporting to the Global Head of Branding & Sourcing Legal, you will:
• Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of a broad range of commercial agreements,
including:
o Professional services agreements
o Consulting agreements
o Technology and SaaS agreements
o Data licensing arrangements
o Enterprise procurement and vendor contracts
• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business and procurement stakeholders, balancing legal risk with
practical and commercially sound solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance on contractual terms, legal developments, regulatory requirements, and
corporate policies to support business objectives while ensuring compliance.
• Partner with subject matter experts across privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, insurance, and
regulatory legal teams to address complex contractual matters.
• Drive continuous improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to enhance
efficiency and scalability.
• Manage and coordinate external counsel and other professional advisors as required.

経験・スキル

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and Law degree (or equivalent)
• Qualification to practice law in Japan
• Minimum 7 years of experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated
commercial contracts gained through:
o A leading Japanese or international law firm, and/or
o An in-house legal department
• Business-level Japanese and English language proficiency
• Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, communication, and
stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities while
working independently in a dynamic environment
• A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with strong business judgment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting the financial services, insurance, banking, or
broader regulated industries
• Experience advising multinational organizations on complex vendor,
technology, or procurement-related transactions
