As company continue expanding their footprint and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels across Japan, they are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Tax Manager to oversee Japan Corporate Tax matters.

【Key Responsibilities】
• Manage corporate tax, consumption tax, and tax accounting activities for the Japan business.
• Ensure timely tax compliance, reporting, and support internal and external audits.
• Advise business stakeholders on tax implications of commercial and cross-border transactions.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and monitor changes in Japanese tax regulations.

経験・スキル

• Japan Local Tax experience inhouse and/or consulting firm.
• Strong knowledge of Japanese corporate tax, indirect tax, and tax accounting.
• Business-level Japanese and English communication skills.
• Proactive approach and improvement-mind-set.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
