Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the analytical strategy of the organization. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end data science projects, from initial concept and design to final implementation. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business problems into actionable models, ensuring that our data-driven initiatives directly support the company’s mission to optimize healthcare solutions.

Main tasks include

Lead the planning and implementation of complex data science and analytics initiatives from start to finish.
Apply advanced machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to derive insights from pharmaceutical data.
Perform comprehensive data preparation, including integration, cleansing, and sophisticated feature engineering.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making.
Continuously refine analytical frameworks to stay at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry.

経験・スキル

Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
7+ years of professional experience in data science, or 5+ years of post-doctoral experience in a related field.
Expertise in advanced analytical techniques, specifically machine learning and predictive modeling.
Proven experience in handling data pipelines, including data integration, transformation, and cleansing.
Strong proficiency in programming with Python and SQL (R knowledge is highly valued).
Solid experience in leading full-cycle data science projects.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to influence project outcomes.
Professional-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
