Test Manager, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Role & Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the entire lifecycle of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system releases. You will act as the key bridge between regional business stakeholders and offshore development teams, ensuring that all releases meet rigorous quality standards. By owning the UAT strategy, you will have the opportunity to influence release readiness, streamline testing governance, and foster continuous process improvements within a collaborative, global environment.

Main tasks include
Lead the end-to-end UAT lifecycle, encompassing planning, test design, execution, and final business sign-off.
Coordinate effectively with offshore teams and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with global release roadmaps.
Monitor and report on testing progress, risks, and release readiness through comprehensive weekly management reports.
Manage the defect lifecycle, including triage, tracking, and resolution using JIRA.
Standardize testing methodologies and governance to enhance organizational efficiency and quality.

経験・スキル

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
Proven track record of success in leading UAT initiatives within complex environments.
Expert knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and industry best practices.
Proficiency in utilizing JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.
Demonstrated experience coordinating testing activities across distributed or cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to define entry/exit criteria and success metrics.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to influence outcomes without direct authority.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
