As a Financial Analyst, you will ensure accurate financial control while actively contributing to a positive, passionate, and collaborative business culture.

• Drive Financial Planning: Lead sales budgeting, forecasting, and the development of the 5-year strategic business plan for the Japan region.

• Analyze & Advise: Evaluate company performance, weekly/monthly retail KPIs, and productivity to recommend actionable improvements for sales, working capital, and inventory.

• Support Expansion: Prepare and submit comprehensive business plans and profitability projections for new store rollouts.

• Oversee Operations & Inventory: Manage indirect financial controls and lead inventory procedures, including annual stocktaking across all 80 retail locations.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with local departments, Regional Finance (Australia), and Global HQ (Germany) to align financial initiatives and upload planning data to business systems.

• Deliver Ad-Hoc Insights: Conduct targeted financial analysis to support critical operational decisions and project management for local leadership.

経験・スキル

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical skill set and a proactive approach to your responsibilities.

• Commercial Experience: Proven experience in a similar commercial or analytical role within the B2C/Retail industry.

• Education: A university degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification (Accounting/Finance experience is highly desirable).

• System Proficiency: Strong affinity for IT business systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to present confidently to all levels of the business globally.

• Work Style: Highly proactive, autonomous, and capable of effectively planning and organizing your own time, tasks, and responsibilities.
