Job Description
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our brand's domestic commercial growth through strategic financial leadership. Collaborating closely with the local Head of Finance and our regional offshore accounting hubs, you will ensure high-quality, compliant, and streamlined financial operations. This role is essential in elevating our local accounting practices and maintaining alignment with Japanese regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the end-to-end month-end, quarterly, and fiscal year closing processes.
- Audit and validate financial deliverables generated by overseas centralized service teams.
- Guarantee strict adherence to J-GAAP and local accounting compliance protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external banking partners and tax advisors.
- Provide operational mentorship to offshore finance units and manage localized contingencies.
- Partner with the Head of Finance to optimize daily corporate accounting functions.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting or financial management experience (including strong general ledger/bookkeeping expertise).
- Deep, practical knowledge of Japanese accounting standards with a proven track record in hands-on closings.
- Professional fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal).
- Proficiency utilizing ERP systems (specifically SAP).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables independently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Local bookkeeping certifications (e.g., Nissho Boki or equivalent).
- Background working alongside cross-border shared services or offshore finance teams.
- Broad exposure across sub-ledgers, including AR, AP, and corporate reporting.
