■About our Client
A global energy leader with over 40 years of history, headquartered in Southeast Asia. Since establishing its Japan branch in 2014, the company has focused on renewable energy, including mega-solar operations and advanced energy trading, fostering a passionate and innovative corporate culture.

■Role Overview
As the Vice President and Head of Energy Trading, you will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for the energy trading and retail business in Japan. You will lead a team of 10 professionals, driving revenue growth and ensuring alignment between local operations and global headquarters' strategies.

■Main tasks include
・Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the team
・Design and refine comprehensive energy trading strategies
・Cultivate strategic partnerships with utilities and regulators
・Maximize portfolio valuation through disciplined risk oversight
・Manage P&L and ensure adherence to corporate governance
・Collaborate with global HQ to approve and implement new initiatives

経験・スキル

■Core Competencies
・ Expert understanding of power market dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and numerical analysis.

・Those who have commodity or power trading, with substantial experience in senior managerial or executive roles.
・Proven track record managing energy trading or retailing operations, ideally within power generation or trading companies.
