GENERAL SUMMARY:

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Infrastructure – Japan & Taiwan to lead regional infrastructure governance, platform stability, and disciplined execution of globally driven initiatives.

This role blends infrastructure platform ownership, technical depth, and structured program leadership. The Senior Manager ensures resilient operation of network, on-premise compute, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, and hybrid connectivity environments across stores, HQ offices, distribution centers, and the regional Point-of-Presence (PoP).

The ideal candidate combines operational excellence, vendor governance expertise, financial discipline, and strong execution leadership to translate global infrastructure strategy into stable and scalable regional operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure Platform Ownership & Governance
- Own end-to-end infrastructure governance across Japan & Taiwan, including:
-Store network environments (WAN/SD-WAN/LAN)
-HQ office infrastructure
-Distribution Center connectivity and supporting systems
-On-premise server and compute environments
-Storage and virtualization platforms
-Backup and disaster recovery systems
-Core connectivity and PoP operations
- Ensure architectural alignment with global infrastructure standards while maintaining regional operational stability
- Serve as senior escalation authority for infrastructure-impacting incidents
- Establish lifecycle management, resilience frameworks, and capacity planning across all infrastructure domains
- Define and monitor KPIs for uptime, reliability, recovery objectives, and operational health

Regional Infrastructure Program & Initiative Leadership
- Serve as the accountable regional owner for globally sponsored infrastructure initiatives
- Translate global roadmap and architecture into executable regional implementation plans
- Define regional scope, cost impact, timeline alignment, and vendor coordination requirements
- Lead disciplined execution across regional stakeholders and service providers
- Monitor initiative progress, manage risks, and provide transparent reporting to regional and global leadership
- Ensure initiatives deliver sustainable platform improvement rather than temporary remediation

Regional Hub & Hybrid Environment Accountability
- Own operational integrity of the Tokyo Point-of-Presence (PoP) within the global backbone
- Ensure network, compute, and storage environments at the PoP operate with high availability and resilience
- Maintain hybrid connectivity stability between regional on-premise infrastructure and globally managed cloud platforms
- Identify and mitigate regional risks introduced by global infrastructure or cloud changes
- Provide executive visibility into PoP capacity, performance, and risk exposure

Vendor, Financial & Cost Governance
- Own performance management of infrastructure vendors and telecom providers
- Provide input into contract strategy, SLA definition, and service model optimization
- Participate in annual infrastructure budget planning and cost forecasting
- Validate initiative-level financial impact and ensure cost discipline across regional programs
- Drive accountability for service reliability, financial transparency, and timeline adherence

Organizational Influence & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key regional liaison to Global TPM, Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure execution clarity and governance alignment
- Provide regular, data-driven reporting to executive stakeholders on infrastructure health, risk, and investment priorities
- Promote structured execution, accountability, and operational excellence across the regional infrastructure portfolio

経験・スキル

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure leadership roles
- Proven experience managing distributed infrastructure across multi-site environments
- Strong technical depth in network architecture, SD-WAN, routing/switching, server, storage, virtualization, and hybrid environments
- Experience leading regional execution of globally driven infrastructure programs
- Demonstrated financial acumen including cost forecasting, initiative-level financial validation, and vendor governance
- Experience managing telecom and infrastructure vendors with SLA accountability
- Ability to balance strategic governance leadership with hands-on technical capability when required
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Business-level fluency in Japanese and English (verbal and written) required
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience operating in cross-cultural and multi-regional environments
- Ability to provide structured executive reporting and stakeholder updates

Preferred:
- Experience supporting retail or distributed enterprise environments
- Experience operating regional PoP or data center environments within global backbone architectures
- Relevant certifications (CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure networking, PMP, or equivalent)

Great to have:
- Mandarin language capability is a plus
