Lead the Legal Evolution: Strategic Counsel for a Leading Tech Platform

Are you a legal professional looking to move beyond the "reviewer" desk and into the heart of business strategy? A premier, late-stage Japanese venture—currently the provider of the No. 1 cloud-based project management platform in its sector—is seeking a dynamic In-House Lawyer to join their mission-driven team.

【The Opportunity: Beyond Traditional Legal Boundaries】

While infrastructure is at the heart of what we do, our impact is purely digital. Our client is a socially impactful SaaS platform with over 680,000 users dedicated to "bringing happiness to those who build happiness". Having recently secured 12.2 billion yen in Series D funding, the company is shifting toward group management, aggressive M&A, and the launch of diverse new business domains outside of its core SaaS model.

【The Role: A Seat at the Strategy Table】
This isn't a role where you wait for a contract to land in your inbox. You will be a Business Partner, working closely with New Business Development and Enterprise teams.

M&A and PMI: Take direct involvement in legal due diligence, investment agreements, and post-merger integration as the company expands its group footprint.


Strategic Development: Navigate the legal schemes for launching innovative products and updating existing business flows.


IPO Readiness: Support the establishment of internal control systems and governance for a future stock exchange listing.


Executive Exposure: Communicate directly with management and work within a flat team led by an Executive Officer who is also a licensed lawyer.


【Growth & Rewards】
Compensation: Annual income up to 13 million yen, with the possibility of further incentives based on interview performance and demonstrated expertise.


Flexibility: A Hybrid work style combining office and remote work, with flexible hours (Core time 11:00–15:00).


Environment: Based in a brand-new office in Mita, Tokyo, within a culture that values "Technology First" and "Craftsmanship".


【Requirements】
Must have: A Japanese Lawyer’s license and at least 2 years of corporate legal experience.


Ideal: Legal experience in the SaaS or startup industry, experience with IPO preparation, or a background in the IT/physical industry sectors.

【応募要件】
必須: 弁護士資格を保有し、法律事務所または企業法務での実務経験2年以上 。
