■About the company
Our client is a globally recognized leader in the sporting goods industry, known for its innovative products and commitment to excellence. With a significant presence in Japan, they foster a professional environment that values collaboration and continuous improvement.

■Role & Responsibilities
This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of accounting data within the Japanese market. You will manage fixed assets, support tax filings, and collaborate with international teams to enhance accounting processes and data integrity.

■Main tasks include
・Manage fixed asset accounting under JGAAP, including journal entries and reconciliations.
・Lead the annual physical fixed asset count process.
・Ensure timely payments and reconcile sales data variances for improved accuracy.
・Process vendor invoices and customer payment notices for AP/AR teams.
・Prepare financial statements for statutory closing and support audits.

■Working condition
- Hybrid 2 days a week in the office and on each office day, employees are required to be in the office for at least a half day (minimum 4 hours).

経験・スキル

■Requirements
・Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
・3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
・Strong knowledge of JGAAP, US GAAP, and Japan consumption tax.
・Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
・Business-level English and Japanese communication skills.
・High level of accuracy and integrity in handling financial data.
