■Role Overview
You will responsible for leading the General Ledger, taxation, and financial reporting functions for Japan operations. You will ensure high-standard compliance with both US GAAP and J-GAAP while managing month-end closing and tax filings. This role acts as a critical link between local operations and global finance teams to drive operational excellence.

■Main tasks include:
・Lead end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for Japan legal entities.
・Ensure rigorous compliance with both US GAAP and J-GAAP accounting standards and reporting requirements.
・Oversee corporate tax, consumption tax, and other statutory filings in coordination with tax advisors.
・Facilitate and manage internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation and analysis.
・Optimize accounting workflows and internal controls (SOX) to improve accuracy and operational scalability.
・Collaborate closely with global finance stakeholders in Korea and the US to align on accounting policies.

こんな方を求めています

経験・スキル

■Requirements
・5–8+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably within a multinational corporation.
・Deep technical knowledge of both US GAAP and J-GAAP accounting principles and reporting.
・Business-level English and Japanese (written and verbal) for global reporting.

■Nice-to-have
・Professional certification such as a CPA (US or Japan) or a Tax Accountant (Zeirishi) license.
・Extensive hands-on experience using large-scale ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
・Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving process automation and efficiency.
・Experience in a fast-paced technology or retail environment with high-volume transactions.
