This managerial role within the Strategy & Analytics Department acts as a primary driver for strategic decision-making across the organization, specifically guiding investment trade-offs between evolving Therapeutic Areas and non-Therapeutic Area topics.

The incumbent supports the Leadership Team by providing a holistic view of the business, integrating complex cross-functional factors to align on mid-to-long-term strategies.

By identifying business opportunities and analyzing internal and external impacts, this position plays a crucial role in influencing the short- and long-term success of the business through data-driven prioritization.

■Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Opportunity Assessment: Identify, assess, and report on business opportunities and risks to deliver timely insights that support the Head of Business Unit in making cross-divisional decisions.

- Trend Analysis & Monitoring: Analyze internal and external factors impacting the business while closely monitoring trends to provide accurate information on significant changes or pertinent risks.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead or contribute to projects that drive cross-functional agendas based on strategic plans, including the development of guidance for collaborative efforts.

- Business Optimization: Develop and propose potential plans to maximize the business, delivering valuable outputs for an optimal business model in accordance with the broader strategy.

- Neutral Coordination: Maintain a neutral position while working cross-functionally to prioritize initiatives and propose decisions on high-priority business challenges.

■Key Requirements
- Professional Experience: A professional with over 10 years of experience, possessing a solid background in management consulting firms and a strong aspiration to work within the healthcare industry.

- Strategic Acumen: Strong business acumen and learning agility, with specific knowledge or experience in strategic frameworks, execution, and operation.

- Analytical & Critical Thinking: A logical thinker with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, capable of consolidating various information to draw informed conclusions.

- Stakeholder Management: High-level skills in project and stakeholder management to drive initiatives under conflicting situations, with the ability to communicate effectively and remain unbiased.

- Education & Language Skills: A Bachelor's degree (MBA preferable) is required, along with native-level fluency in Japanese, fluent English, and advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
