■Position overview
The Accountant maintains general accounting records, performing basic accounting activities. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, working with teams on journal entries, executing month-end close, and account reconciliations. This role ensures transactions comply with GAAP, company policies, and SOX internal controls.

■ACCOUNTABILITIES
・Managing financial transactions
・Streamlining accounting functions
・Performing month-end/year-end close
・Monthly account reconciliation (Blackline)
・Preparing income statements, balance sheet
・Assist in fluctuation/trend analysis

経験・スキル

■Requirements

・Typically requires a minimum of 3 years related working experience, preferably in a multinational manufacturing organization or a trading company

・Good knowledge of accounting theory, principles & practices. (Japan Statutory & US GAAP).

・Motivated, Self-starter with strong works ethic.

・Hands on approach, patient and willingness to travel.

・Preferable with good communication, oral and written skills in English and Japanese.

・Computer proficiency, with an emphasis on ERP, SBO, Microsoft products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
