■Role
As a Backend Engineer, you will build and scale the backend for a new generative AI product. You will design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance systems. Collaborating with a talented team, you will solve complex challenges and play a key role in the product's success.

■Main tasks include
・Design and implement scalable and robust backend systems for a generative AI product.
・Develop and maintain APIs and microservices.
・Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration.
・Optimize database performance and efficiency.
・Implement security best practices to protect user data.
・Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the product.

こんな方を求めています

経験・スキル

■Must have
・5+ years of backend engineering experience
・3+ years with strongly-typed/functional languages (Java, Rust, etc.)
・Strong SQL expertise & production experience with PostgreSQL
・Familiarity with Docker & a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
・Curiosity or experience in generative AI and RAG workflows
・Business-level written and spoken English

■Nice-to-have
・Experience optimizing LLM & RAG applications
・Experience with event-driven systems (Redis, Kafka, etc.)
・Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform
・Open-source contributions to frameworks, tools, or AI libraries
・Functional programming experience
・Japanese language skills
