This is an exciting opportunity to lead and collaborate within a global team, making a tangible impact on financial processes and supporting business success in Japan. You'll report to the APAC Accounting Senior Manager and work closely with our local FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Financial Closing & Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for both primary (USGAAP) and secondary (JGAAP) ledgers, collaborating with the global GAS team. This includes reviewing journal entries, work papers, and supporting documentation, and performing reclassifications/corrections as needed.
- Fixed Asset Management: Supervise JGAAP-based Fixed Asset accounting records and lead physical count processes.
- Process Improvement & Project Leadership: Drive global project implementation and support local business process improvements in finance. Proactively identify and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with global accounting teams, superiors, and local business partners. You'll also assist in group audits and participate in P&L review meetings.
- Operational Support: Provide support for AP, AR, and Treasury-related activities, including communication with local banks, coordinating with the treasury team, and supervising vendor invoice filing.
- Ad-hoc Requests & Coaching: Respond to ad-hoc requests from the Japan business team and contribute to team member coaching.

こんな方を求めています

経験・スキル

- Japanese Bookkeeping Certificate (Nissho Boki) Level 2 preferred.
- At least 8 years of related accounting experience, with consumer goods industry experience preferred.
- Business-level written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Strong knowledge of JGAAP and U.S. GAAP accounting requirements, including Fixed Asset treatment.
