About the Role:

As the Senior Finance Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, taking responsibility for overseeing and optimizing all accounting and reporting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting expert with a deep understanding of financial processes, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with the controlling team.
- Guarantee compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for head office inquiries, providing comprehensive and timely financial information.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately, coordinating with various departments.
- Continuously review and enhance accounting processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and implement system improvements to streamline financial operations.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets, working closely with the internal control department.
- Ensure adherence to established financial policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or significant experience within a public accounting firm is essential (minimum 5-10 years of experience).
- Proven track record in a senior accounting role, ideally within an international company.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese is a must.
