Summary
Randstad, partnered with a leading Securities firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join their equities front office development team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of their in-house principal trading platform for equity cash and derivative products. As part of the Global IT team, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design to delivery, working closely with other IT teams and business users.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and enhance the in-house equities trading platform, including core components, messaging, market data handling, order flow, risk management, and interfaces with middle and back-office systems.
- Design and develop position management infrastructure based on business requirements, including the integration of new products and markets and the re-implementation of legacy application functionality.
- Optimize system performance with a focus on latency, throughput, and capacity.
- Manage and implement changes arising from regulatory and other system initiatives and projects within the IT Group.

経験・スキル

Requirements:

Mandatory:
- Strong technical skills in Java.
- Solid core programming skills, including design patterns and multi-threading.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing server applications and database design.

Desired:
- Experience in Linux development.
- Experience in writing performance-optimized code.
- Some experience with Java Swing/C# and User Interface development.


Good to have:
- Experience in securities/finance system technology.
Japanese language communication skills.
- Prior experience with Python, Oracle, FIX protocol and connectivity, and pub/sub messaging middleware.
