■About the company

■Role & Responsibilities
As a Defect Management Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the high quality of our next-generation telematic units. You'll own the defect management process across multiple projects, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to drive efficient resolution of issues. You will actively improve processes and tools, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

■Main tasks include
・Lead the definition, implementation, and optimization of defect management processes and tools.
・Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of defects.
・Analyze defect trends and identify areas for process improvement.
・Manage interfaces for data exchange with customers and suppliers.
・Track ticket handling and facilitate resolution based on priority.
・Create and maintain comprehensive defect statistics to monitor progress.
・Conduct regular meetings to discuss defect status and define resolution strategies.
・Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce defect counts.

こんな方を求めています

経験・スキル

■Requirements
・Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
・1-3 years of experience in project teams (30+ members).
・Experience with software development projects and processes.
・Proven experience in defect management or a similar project support role.
・Strong proficiency in software tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Excel).
・Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
・Ability to communicate effectively and present complex information clearly.
・Fluency in English and Japanese (technical and business proficiency).
・Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
・Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
