Role & Responsibilities
You will be a key member of the Approval Centre Japan team, working closely with Japanese shipbuilders on plan approval projects. You will be responsible for the technical review and approval of hull structural designs, leveraging your FEM analysis skills. You'll provide technical support to ship designers, collaborate with the business development team, and contribute to strengthening our client's position in the Japanese market. You'll actively participate in a global network of experts, gaining invaluable insights into structural design and newbuilding projects.

Main tasks include
・Lead FEM analysis of hull structural designs.
・Provide technical support to ship designers throughout the plan approval process.
・Collaborate with business development and site office teams.
・Contribute to enhancing the company's market position in Japan.

経験・スキル

Requirements
・Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or a related field.
・Minimum 3 years of experience in hull plan approval or structural design within the shipbuilding industry.
・Proven expertise in FEM analysis techniques.
・Experience working with Japanese shipbuilders is a plus.
・Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
・Fluency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken).
・Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
・Results-oriented and detail-focused approach to work.
・Adaptable and proactive problem-solving skills.
・Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
