Your Mission:

Lead the development and implementation of our data science strategy in Japan.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data scientists and product managers.
Conceptualize, promote, and implement business insights using applied empirical analytics.
Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to drive revenue and optimize resources.
Lead the development of end-to-end ML/AI solutions and applications at scale in the Cloud.
Conceptualize, document, and deploy complex analytical plans to address business challenges.
Effectively communicate complex quantitative analysis to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
Lead ongoing and ad-hoc analyses and predictive analytics to provide actionable insights.
Foster a data-driven culture and act as a technology evangelist within the organization.

経験・スキル

What You'll Bring to the Table:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of relevant experience in data science/machine learning.
3+ years of managerial experience leading data science teams.
Expert-level knowledge of applied regression techniques (Linear, Logistic, Mixed models, Time Series, GLMs, Simultaneous Equations) and Neural Network models (sales forecasting,).
Expertise in statistical data analysis and mathematical methodologies for unsupervised & supervised learning algorithms (neural nets, deep neural nets, boosted trees, SVMs).
Expert-level knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and large-scale distributed systems (Hadoop, Snowflake/Databricks).
Proven ability to conceive and coach the design of end-to-end scripted analytics solutions using Python, Scala, Java, or R, and modern analytical systems (Spark + Hadoop/Databricks/Snowflake).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) in Applied Econometrics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Industry or consulting experience, along with strong project management skills.
