About the Adventure:
Imagine being at the heart of our technology operations in Japan, overseeing IT service delivery for our Tokyo headquarters, Saitama Plant, and various sales offices. But your impact won't stop there! You'll also provide crucial support to our IT site operations in China (Shanghai, Beijing, and potentially other locations), ensuring a consistent and high-quality IT experience for all our users.

What You'll Be Doing:
The IT Navigator: Act as the central IT point of contact for all our operations in Japan, and provide vital oversight for IT in China.
The Operations Maestro: Take ownership of managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth service desk operations, and leading our talented onsite support teams.
The Device Lifecycle Champion: Spearhead the end-user device lifecycle, guaranteeing security, compliance, and smart cost management.
The Vendor Whisperer: Oversee our vendor relationships, proactively driving service quality and achieving significant cost optimizations.
The Digital Transformation Driver: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge digital tools, enhancing user experience and boosting productivity.
The Security Guardian: Ensure unwavering cybersecurity compliance, aligning local practices with our global IT policies and protecting our valuable assets.

Local IT teams in Japan and China, empowering them and fostering a unified approach.
External vendors and service providers, building strong partnerships to optimize our IT service delivery.

Is This You?
We're looking for someone who brings:
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations and project management within an international environment.
Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and modern workplace technologies.
Financial Savvy: Proven experience managing budgets and successfully optimizing IT service delivery costs.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Japanese (mandatory) and English (mandatory) is essential for effective communication. Proficiency in Chinese is a significant plus!
Certifications (Bonus Points!): ITIL, PMP, or other relevant IT service management certifications are highly desirable.
Soft Skills Superstar: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills with a knack for building strong relationships.

- We are looking for an experienced IT Services Lead who can work cross-culturally with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to join our Technology Services team, based in our Tokyo, Japan office.
About the role
As an IT Services Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing IT service delivery across sites in Japan (Tokyo, Saitama Plant, and Sales offices) and supporting IT site operations in China (Shanghai, Beijing, and other locations as required). Your role will ensure operational stability and seamless IT service delivery, including end-user support, infrastructure, vendor management, and cost optimization.
Who you’ll work with
You will work with a dynamic, global team, collaborating with local IT teams, vendors, and service providers to optimize IT services across Japan and China. You will also liaise with global stakeholders to align local IT services with company-wide strategies and standards.
What you’ll do
• Act as the primary IT contact for Japan and oversee IT operations in China
• Manage IT infrastructure, service desk operations, and onsite support
• Lead end-user device lifecycle management ensuring security, compliance, and cost efficiency
• Oversee vendor contracts, driving service quality and cost optimization
• Promote digital tool adoption and enhance user experience
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, aligning with global IT policies

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and project management in an international setting
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and workplace technologies
