Are you a strategic IT Business Partner ready to drive digital transformation and shape the future of a leading Product technology company in Japan?

Our Information Technology Division in Japan is looking for a passionate IT Business Partner to join our Business Partner Group. You'll be instrumental in driving innovative digital transformation, ensuring secure and sustainable IT services, and championing a digital culture across our organization.

As a Business Partner, you'll own these critical missions from a Business Partnership standpoint. You'll lead the overall Business Partnership model, collaborating closely with functional leadership to develop business blueprints and spearheading the creation of technical blueprints that fuel our long-term business growth. You'll also play a key role in IT Compliance and IT Communication initiatives.

Your Mission:

Trusted Advisor: Act as a strategic business advisor and sparring partner for business process owners and internal key users.

Global Collaboration: Partner with IT colleagues across the APAC region and our global team to bring world-class solutions to Japan.

Digital Transformation Driver: Work closely with our Enterprise Applications, Local Operations, and Strategy & Service Management Groups to contribute to the digital transformation roadmap and technical reference architecture of our company in Japan.

Technical Communicator: Effectively communicate complex technical architectures and the digital transformation roadmap to business functional stakeholders.

Demand Analyst: Analyze IT demands from assigned business divisions.

Value Creator: Calculate the Return on Investment (ROI) of IT solutions for identified business needs.

Compliance Champion: Actively drive IT Compliance by collaborating with the BPM Group Manager and the IT security and compliance team to ensure the Business fulfills its IT compliance obligations.

Communication Catalyst: Actively drive IT Communications and collaborate with the regional IT Communications Team to deploy effective campaigns and change management within your assigned division.


What You'll Bring to the Table:

[Requirements]

Solid understanding of ITIL and ITSM practices.
Proven experience in IT fundamentals, including cloud architecture, software development, data, automation (API and RPA), infrastructure, security, and compliance.
Hands-on knowledge and experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, ServiceNow, SAP, PowerPlatform, UiPath, Winshuttle, Snaplogic, KNIME, and Microsoft Copilot Studio/Agent.
Experience in technical solution architecting.
Experience in budgeting, supplier pricing analysis/negotiation, and cost control.
Experience in Project Finance, including project cost-benefit analysis and ROI analysis.
Proven experience in business process analysis and process mapping.
Experience working with CMDB.
Experience leading small to mid-size digitization projects.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Commitment to adhering to legal, compliance, and regulatory standards.

PMP Certification.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent working experience.
Experience as a Lean practitioner.
