■Role & Responsibilities
As a Supply Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stable supply of products to the Japanese market. You will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, sales, finance, and global supply chain teams. You will monitor supply, manage inventory, identify and mitigate risks, and contribute to the overall financial health of the business. You’ll be at the forefront of supply chain optimization initiatives in a rapidly changing market.

■Main tasks include
・Monitor supply planning and inventory levels, identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks.
・Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize inventory levels and ensure efficient supply chain operations.
・Track daily sales data and monitor inventory consumption to proactively address potential service disruptions.
・Manage SLOBS (Slow-Moving, Obsolete, and Broken Stock) effectively.
・Contribute to financial performance through inventory optimization strategies.
・Manage inventory by batch, shelf life, and minimum shelf-life requirements by channel and account.
・Support product lifecycle management within the supply chain planning process, including new product development, discontinuation, and artwork changes.
・Develop and implement robust reporting mechanisms to track supply chain performance and communicate key findings to stakeholders.

■Knowledge
・Overall supply chain knowledge and Inventory optimization methods.
・Use of ERP such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis planning tool

■Skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills  Process assessment/Improvements  Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage and obtain consensus with key stakeholders  Comfortable with learning how to use new tools/ systems.

■Language:
Proficiency in Japanese and English, to be able to interact with Regional/ Global stakeholders
