System Architect Director

We are looking for a System Architect Director to lead system architecture, infrastructure design, cloud migration, and non-functional requirements delivery across various retail and business partner integrations.

This role involves hands-on collaboration with engineers, PMs, DevOps, and security teams to ensure high availability, operational efficiency, and maintainability of critical systems.

The ideal candidate will drive system optimizations, architecture modernization, and technical improvements in a diverse, multinational engineering environment.

Opportunity to utilize both English and Japanese on a daily basis.

経験・スキル

【Essential Requirements / 必須要件】

■ System Architecture & Cloud Expertise
・5+ years of experience in cloud-based system delivery and infrastructure deployment (ideally Azure).
・Hands-on experience designing high-availability architectures in cloud environments.

■ Leadership & Communication
・Experience leading multinational engineering teams and driving technical decision-making.
・Ability to clearly explain complex system architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

■ Language Proficiency
・Fluent Japanese and Business-level English required.
