IT Business Analyst (Assistant Manager level)

-SUMMARY of the ROLE
For this international product company, we seek an IT Business Analyst (Assistant Manager level) to work closely with the different Business Units and the IT Teams to solve critical problems utilizing Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies. and deliver value for the future of our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building and maintaining relationships with business and IS stakeholders
- Analyzing business needs, creating business requirements, creating and executing test plans from the user's perspective
- Leading staff as an assistant manager and working with managers to ensure high performance of the team

REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of work experience related to IT in Insurance, Fiance, or IT Consulting (experience in life insurance is preferred, but not mandatory)
- Experience creating business requirements, user testing, or system development for life insurance policy administration systems and peripheral systems
- Experience participating as a business analyst in business improvement projects and customer service improvement projects
- Experience working toward project goals as a team leader

- Understanding of system development process (Waterfall, Agile model)

- Near-native level written and verbal communication in Japanese
- Business-level English skills preferred (at least simple text communication via chat or email is acceptable)
