• Assisting to maintain the existence, completeness, and accuracy of accounting data.
• Working closely with the accounts payable, accounts receivable, pricing and trade spend functions.
• Supporting the timely submission of the month-end close data including commentary and quarterly consolidation package to the corporate accounting department.
• Preparing specific account reconciliations, including but not limited to bank accounts, deferred freight, sundry accruals, intercompany, income taxes.
• Assisting Foreign exchange accounting, including the quarterly hedge accounting test.
• Supporting tax accounting and reporting via communications with the global and regional headquarters, local tax advisors, and tax authorities (income, consumption, payroll, etc.).
• Administrating payroll and associated benefits, under the supervision of HR and Payroll manager.
• Supporting annual external and internal audits by providing information and responses to auditors.
• Supporting to establish and maintain the internal control environment, including SAP SoD violations.
• Assisting the non-Japanese Finance Director with Japanese based finance documents/correspondence (i.e., insurance, pensions, banking, etc.)
• Act as an SAP SuperUser.

こんな方を求めています

経験・スキル

• Japanese fluency with Business English (spoken) (TOEIC 800 or above or equivalent)
• Nice to have: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Must have: Bookkeeping 3rd Grade Nissho Boki
• 3+ years of experience as an accountant
• Basic knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Some SAP or ERP experience
