Position: Data Analytics Project Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor/Masters’ degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5-6 years of proven experience managing large, complex data & analytics projects

PREFERED SKILLS:

•Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
•Experience in digital or ecommerce data is highly desirable
• Proficiency in understanding digital and ecommerce data & analytics requirements and KPIs
• Working knowledge of data, BI & Analytics technologies
• Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and documenting business requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and PaaS
• Experience managing vendor relationships in offshore delivery models
• Certifications in GCP, Scrum, or PMI are a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a proactive business partner, supporting relationships with data stakeholders in Japan
• Contribute to defining and prioritizing business requirements
• Coordinate and integrate various deliverables for solution consistency
• Support program implementation strategy and change management activities
• Monitor project risks and implement corrective measures as needed
• Collaborate with regional IT partners to manage internal and external resources effectively
• Improve ongoing application operations with efficient vendor management
• Foster expertise and knowledge development within the team

JOB OBJECTIVES:

• Support the delivery of projects within defined standards, deadlines, and quality requirements
• Maintain application operations, including pipeline management and issue resolution
• Develop local technical expertise to support data strategy implementation in Japan
