Our client is one of Japan's biggest Travel SaaS Company. They are on a big reconstruction project and are looking for developers with vast technical experience to join their team.

Working in collaboration with team members, product managers, front-end engineers, and related teams within the company; the role involves API development and operations for developers, contributing to the successful early renewal of a large-scale traffic site.
After the renewal from the existing site, the role includes continuous API feature improvement, performance tuning, monitoring/alert handling, and resolution of user inquiries in collaboration with technical support engineers.

The position requires solid technical skills to serve as a role model for the next generation of engineers and to drive the organization's growth.

経験・スキル

Required Skills:

- 5 years extensive experience in large-scale Web API development and operations using Java and the Spring Framework.
-3 years development and operations experience in a Linux environment.
-Experience in efficient table design/query creation for RDBMS like Oracle.
-Experience in distributed development using GitHub/Bitbucket or similar version control systems and Pull Requests.
-Practical experience in code and design reviews.
-Record of architectural improvements, tuning, and performance analysis.
-Experience in web application operations/tuning and knowledge of security.
-Experience in designing software architecture and selecting middleware.
-Practical experience in development using automated testing such as xUnit/xSpec.
-Ability to design database schemas and implement applications considering inter-system coordination.
Experience in interface design for APIs.

Soft Skills:

-Ability to engage in active and constructive discussions in English.
-Motivation to work in a team for development tasks.
-Project management or team leader experience.
-Drive to lead software development with ownership.
-Continuously learn new technologies and explore solutions to challenges and requests.
