We are seeking an experienced IT ecommerce operations senior manager to be involved in supporting the optimization of our expanding ecommerce and digital landscape.

Job Title: Senior. Manager, Ecommerce IT Operations and Support

Reports to: Director, Business Solutions

Location: Tokyo

ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES
The Senior. Manager, Ecommerce IT Operations and Support oversees the execution and management of Japan's ecommerce platform incidents, with a focus on resolving issues for the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Collaborating with internal stakeholders, to ensures high-quality and efficient incident support. The position involves continuous kaizen projects, KPI reporting, and global interaction with IT and digital teams, along with offshore support teams. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, with a successful track record in EC platform support and operations.

The EC Senior Manager will also oversee EC platforms in Korea and APAC regions, supervising dedicated team members, and partnering closely with EC leaders for system roadmap, priorities, and budgeting.

DAY TO DAY TASKS
•Collaborate with brand ecommerce and customer service teams to understand platform issues and prioritize incidents
•Work with offshore support teams for timely issue resolution
•Collaborate with backend system teams to understand E2E impact
•Proactively evaluate and improve support processes, building KPIs and dashboards
•Focus on support process improvements to alleviate stakeholder friction points
•Understand the overall EC system and integration architecture
•Partner with Japan Digital team for synergy between enhancements and current platform issues
•Collaborate with local and global 3rd party vendors for issue resolution and new projects

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record in Ecommerce incident management
• Experience and knowledge in SDLC and project management

DESIRED TRAITS
• experience and in-depth knowledge of SFCC and OMS
Plus: experience and knowledge in other retail E-Commerce related systems
• Experience in a multi-brand, global environment is desired
• Strong communication and facilitation skills in English and Japanese
• Experience in working with cross-functional IT teams in multiple geographical locations
• Great expectation management skills
• Experience in using Service Now, Jira, and Confluence are a plus
• Adaptable and flexible with a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to stay positive and committed in a role with pressure and demand
• Highly organized and detail-oriented for delivering high-quality incident management performance.
