POSITION TITLE: QA manager

Location: Tokyo


PURPOSE OF THE JOB

System Support/Development with minimum 5 years of experience. Playing a key role in Local IT Team, this candidate will contribute to supporting & testing Front-Office solutions in Japan in the Digital area, are integrated into regional solutions (Salesforce Solution, ERP, marketing automation and loyalty engine).

Works closely with Digital key users for high level requirements, will contribute to design / testing / support of the Front-Office applications (+ integration with Salesforce/ POS/ERP) for Japan:

• Digital & eCommerce Sites,

• LINE applications integrated with CRM & Digital


Ideal candidate would have tests knowledge and exposed to digital solution environment and projects :

- Test and Support Digital / eCommerce sites enhancements (HQ sites localized for Japan)

- Test and support CRM Multi-Channel Integration (e-Commerce / Retail / Social CRM)


This candidate works with central/ Regional tech/business units to test and review features on global or regional projects in Japan in a secured and cost-effective way.


MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The QA Manager will be responsible for
• Guaranteeing compliance with the operational guidelines for test management at the PCIS (test plans, scenarios, dashboards, communication, etc.)

• Participate & be a testing referent on project planning with external test vendors

• Maintain and develop the agile QA organization in agreement with the Retail System Manager

• Manage the implementation and/or maintenance of automated tests with the tools in place to secure the delivery & the run

• Contribute strongly to good relations with World Wide teams through regular synchronization points and identification of common topics

• Collect and centralize Customer data by house in order to sustain a "customer centric" vision

• Actively participate in common topics with the support teams in order to strengthen synergy on run activities

• Be a force of proposal around the subjects of new technologies and QA process

• Implement project acceptance strategies based on global standards

• Plan the acceptance of your projects & ensure its management

• Ensure communication on QA at project team level (IT & Business)

• Actively participate in testing (and open related bugs)


KEY FIGURES RELATIONSHIPS

• Internal: Regional / Central IT members, CRM & Digital team, eCommerce team • External: Outsourced vendor (such as LINE service provider, warehouse team for eCommerce and External test vendors)


PERSON SPECIFICATION

Key competencies:

• Minimum 5 years experience in digital & eCommerce testing, including 2 as a Test Lead

• Excellent spoken & written Japanese + fluent in English

• Structured, able to provide regular and consistent reporting

• Web + back sensitivity (mastery of multi-layer test logic)

• Sensitivity to the Customer experience & eCommerce challenges (knowledge in marketing/CRM is a plus)

• Ability to supervise testers and communicate with external vendors

• Ability to report synthetically (in Japanese & English)

• Rigor and professional involvement

• Intellectual curiosity Technical skills:

• Very Good functional understanding of retail Business and Digital / CRM topics

• Knowledge of Jira/qTest/Powerpoint/Power BI tools is a nice to have
